Gipsy Horses Rodeo Cowboys Association preserves and enshrines the traditions of western heritage and rodeo as a sports and entertainment form. We pay tribute to the rodeo cowboy and athlete by offering training and competition events in a full range of classes and disciplines. From barrel racing, pole bending up to rodeo dancing and rodeo clown entractes.  

Our lessons, clinics, training, and competition events are open to members and non-members. Members of the Gipsy Horses Rodeo Cowboys Association can benefit from reduced member entry fees.

Our organization is built on four basic principles that are crucial to all our activities:

1. Respect for people and animals.

2. Rodeo culture is both a sport and an entertainment form that should be made available to audiences of all ages, gender, nationality, ethnicity, culture, and religion.

3. We treat all competitors equally and with respect — a fellow competitor is like a brother or sister, who helps to demonstrate the broad variety of the entertainment & sports qualities of rodeo. An entertainment form, a series of sports and culture.

4. A smile —a positive mindset— is the best way to overcome whatever challenge.

Our organization dates back from the early 1980's when William Henry Dougan got involved in planting the first authentic American crops on European soil. William found a way to grow European rodeo while preserving its true genuine stars and stripes character. Early 2022 we finally incorporated Gipsy Horses Rodeo Association into a fully fledged non profit structure.
